Photography

Photography started off as a hobby in Ian's early teens but after an advanced photography course he bought a Nikon D-SLR and says he hasn't looked back! He has taken many photos (and videos) for the BBC and other websites.

Ian's current equipment is as follows:
  • Nikon D60 D-SLR
  • Nikon 18-55mm DX lens
  • Sigma 55-200mm HSM telephoto lens
  • Nissin Di622 Speedlite flashgun
  • Kood/Cokin P-Square ND2, ND4 and ND grad filters
  • Tiffen/Hoya polarizing/UV haze filters
  • Manfrotto Maxi Modo tripod
  • Nikon remote release for D60
  • Lowepro case
Please check out Rishton Riviera for a site Ian produced about a village with its rivers, reservoir and canal in the summer months.
